03.03.2011 The renovation to the site is complete. Enjoy the new echostationmusic.com. Live music is coming back to Port Chester. The Capitol Theater is being renovated and will be hosting national acts once again in 2012. We're angling like crazy to open for a headliner in our hometown. We'll see how it goes. Regardless, it's good to see live music coming back to what was once a thriving local scene. While echo station has kept a low profile over the last year, some of the guys have still been doing their thing musically. Steve, along with Dave Chan has released their band Intermission's EP on iTunes, as well as having one of their songs featured in Jane Dorogeyer's short film, Best Friend's Charm. Kevin's band, Infectious By Nature has been playing out and he's been hosting open mic nights at a local venue in Port Chester on Tuesday's. The only section left to finish is “Media.” Should be another week or two and the reconstructions of echostationmusic.com will be complete. We’d like to welcome Matt Asher aboard. Matt’s joining us from eBomb Productions and will assume booking and management for the band. Good luck, you’re gonna need it with this crew. We’re planning on playing a show to raise money for Autism Awareness. It is tentatively scheduled for May 26th. More details to follow. -Mike 02.14.2012 Happy Valentines Day. You shouldn’t need a made up, Corporate America bullshit holiday to treat your woman right though. So do the right thing. She’ll thank you for it later that night. The music section of the site is complete. We’ve added some more photo’s to Joe’s section as well.
